damnit, business training SUCKS. get to work for 6:45am (the damned sun ain't even up), and they start the day with charades. i could've gotten another hours sleep, for fucks sakes.

And, we are supposed to be learning. as if the trainer is going to allow everyone to tell a damned story about something that happened in their life that has a tiny shred in common with what we have talked about.

Who needs a week to learn how to ask if they want a contract, then enter the right codes.

well, Im going to try to catch a quick nap before lunch...weeeeeeeeeeeee.

You should have played charades dude. That way you could just be like, "hey, guess who I am (make retarded face), then shout, I'm the retard who got us all up before the sun so we could come in here and play this stupid game!"

luckily I was half hour late (I hate public buses too, thats another rant), so I only had to shake my head and groan for about half an hour. still, there are calls i could make, customers I could help, but my time and my employers dollars are wasted. shrug...guess thats why Ill never make upper management.

hope you never get "zinger Millered" our company had us go through mind numbing training. bordered on thought control with some "this is how to live at home" tips added. just nod your head and smile.

a week long course on how to sell contracts for software support at Dell. just an addon to our existing jobs, with no extra pay. the real sales people don't know jack about computers, so they don't know which one to sell, so they are having the technicians be the one who has to hear "I have to pay how much?" 50 times a day.

oh well, at least I don't have to deal with customers for a week.

desktop or servers?

And if servers, I wanna know if PCIx will support the old school 16 pin PCI modem cards?

But hey properr job man, at least they are paying you for this shit. Away from home?

I work with desktop/laptop. training is at the same building I work at, so nothing special that way.

but, it pays the bills. I shouldn't complain too much about a job where I sit on my ass and talk on the phone...or CJ might kick my ass.
