Alright, I've got about 50 rants I could write up at the time, but this one just really tops my list about now....
As most of you guys know, I've spent the last few years in roads construction, and have pretty much seen it all, done it all, and somehow survived long enough to bitch about it all. I was pretty sure that I had seen the most ignorant pricks the world had to offer, until yesterday....
Scenario: Fairly new road, we're getting ready to plant the final lift on it, so it's got fresh road tar all over. We all know what happens when you go fast across fresh tar, right?
We get complaints from time to time from people who want a fresh paint job because their old crapbag car somehow (usually speeding like fuck through our work areas), got tar on it, but it just appeared out of nowhere. That's usually no big deal, we just tell them to blow it out their arses and quit making bullshit calls for free stuff. This one, however, was a bit different, in that not only did he do about 60mph above the posted limit through the area, but he's trying to sue the company now for having to put oil down to pave the roadway. What a fucking douchebag this guy is, although, with his car, I'd be pissed if I wrecked the paint job too.
Oh, here's his car, btw... same colour and everything, just with black spotting now.
