Prick Driving Stingray Kills Poison
DAYTONA BEACH, Florida — In a macabre and tragically ironic twist on the recent death of Steve Irwin, popular zoologist and zealous advocate of animal-kind, all members, past and present, of the popular rock band Poison were struck and killed by a stingray-wielding senior citizen on a public beach where the band was filming a new video in promotion of their recent smash success, The Best of Poison.
Band members had made their way along a boardwalk and had entered the beach when they were suddenly struck by an elderly man recklessly driving his Corvette Stingray at high speeds – with his feet.
“Drivin’ on the beach is legal here,” confessed Daytona Police Chief, Michael Chitface, “And while most of us around didn’t care much for Poison, we don’t condone this sort of behavior – unless it’s Spring Break – and it ain’t Spring Break. We didn’t see anything.”
Although the hit-and-run assailant was captured on film just minutes before the tragedy occurred – as was his frightened female passenger – no positive identifications have been made on either individual. Chief Chitface promises to get busy on that right away.
