Damn. I've seen different kinds of sand, but I never knew each individual grain was that different. I kinda assumed all of them where a brown/white/yellow color.

So THAT'S what's been going up my crack at the beach. I have to go wash myself now. Some of those looked cancerous.

No wonder some of that sand can actually hurt. Some of them can look spike like. Only after they have been in the ocean or beat against other rocks can the grains look smooth.
