OK they are scientists & ..I am not, but...aren't they supposed to have disappeared ?

They changed into birds. Look up archyopteryx (I know I spelled that wrong, but my spelling skills evade me). The dinosaurs grew feathers and now you eat them whenever you have fried chicken, a McChicken, or Ostrich meat. The only dino's that didn't go extinct or otherwise change a whole lot are sharks and crocodiles/alligators. (Well, I guess some dude in Africa reeled in a coelecanth while deep sea fishing, but who knows what else is down there)

evolved into Pooka Rex
