Gentlemen, I started to pay my Comcast bill tonight at 8:00 p.m. My ISP used to be Insight which IMHO did a great job. I went to the Comcast.com web site and tried to log in. Invalid address. You need to create a user profile. OK simple enough, done. You already have an address ( NO SHIT) and you should log on with it. Tried several passwords, but to no avail. After an hour for fooling with it, I called their 800 number. 25 minutes of holding I finally got through. Who were you holding for? High Speed Internet or Cable or Phone? Lady, I just want to pay my bill. Let me transfer you to billing (there is nothing on the site for JUST billing). Five minutes more waiting, finally another lady, Last for digits of your social, street address again, and finally she said "did you transfer or were you transferred from Insight?" Yes "When you log in did you use your Insightbb sign on?" NO, I used my NEW email address, which the Noobies helped to create for me. Somehow, that did not change in the switchover process. Logged on, reset password, it worked. Total time on phone 35 minutes. Online bill pay. Ok, lets do it. Step One Confirm you are you. Step Two How much do you owe and how you gonna pay us. Step three pay us. Only it stopped at Step Three. Your card was rejected or there was a problem with the server. OK, lets try again. Step One, Done. Step Two,Done Step Three Nope its a no go. WTF did I do wrong. Small print says we have a chat room. OK lets chat I can type with the best of them. Why won't my credit card process? First Lady, I only do Internet, billing ain't my thing. HuH? Ok Second Lady I am Ariel How are you today? Well, Ariel, I am none to happy in the fact that it has taken me damn near three hours to paid my cable/internet bill. OK, let me see what went wrong waiting and waiting and waiting. Another fifteen minutes of waiting. Thanks for your patience. Thanks for your patience. Thanks for your patience. She printed this three times while I'm sitting here twittlding my thumbs. Did it double paid the bill? No, she said it did not. There will be a $3.99 convinence fee for fuckin with my payment. What the fhell? I questioned her $3.99 for what? NO ANSWER. She waived the fee, because I baulked at paying it. Finally, three hours later, I now know that there is a difference between Comcast.net and Comcast.com, Customer Service through Comcast leaves a lot to be desired, if I could find a faster internet for the same price, I would drop these guys like a hot potato. Three hours wasted on paying a bill. Is it just me or has it happen to anyone else? Oh, thanks for being a Comcast customer and have a great day. Yeah, right.:cussing::wtf::angryfire::->:
