Can someone please tell me what the fuck /b/ is and 7chan.org is? I understand ytmnd.com - i get intertube memes, i get myconfinedspace.com .... but I don't get those first two.

4chan.org Great site if you stick to the right forums. /b/ is fucking weird, butyou can still find some good stuff in there if you aren't easily offended.

the chan's are an offshoot of somethingawful.com. Back in the day, there was some Drama, early 2000's, and some goon's got banned. They started the chan sites as an antithesis to the intellingent comedy taking place on something awful. Their more recent focus on dead baby jokes and paedophilia (lolichan) is just a continuation of the fads started on somethingawful.

I did not go to somethingawful.com. The chan site are just too weird and whacked for my tastes, something like consumption junction. com. Talk about way weird, I have not been there in two years, finding that the normality and rationality of that place does not fit with my sleepy, boring existence. Noobsters is on the money for main stream people.
