If you want to share Crisco cooking recipes I say hey - that's cool. But as far as some other site goes (and now I refer to more than one site beginning with the letter "T") I think talking about it here is rant material but with all due respect to Pooka I say we just drop the subject entirely. By talking about this other place on the web we give it recognition - a life here. I choose to not give a shit about some other site except only to say that I don't give a shit about it.

Noobsters who are active at other sites should consider this: divided loyalties damage relationships of every kind. We are anonymous, geographically distant members in this online place and connections like these are very fragile. Sharing content between content boards is a stupid thing to do and will get you on The Holland Hit List. I would not want to be flagged as a dual-membership person. It can get you warned, demoted or banned with a few mouse clicks from The Land of Wooden Shoes.

So to sum this all up I'll say this to you mofos: Crisco is a popular brand of shortening and was first produced in 1911 by Procter & Gamble. It was the first shortening to be made entirely of vegetable oil. As such, Crisco is appropriate for both kosher and vegan diets as it contains no animal products.
