My 19 year old nephew will be traveling to Wales in a couple of months for a visit...If possible he may seek employment in the UK...Do any of you have any tips, advice, must see places, or anything else that would help him prepare for this vacation?
Thanks

The saying in the States is "They roll up the sidewalks at night" so that there is absolutely nothing happening.
so i spent 3 years of my childhood there. Its was pretty dead is those days, not much to do. It rained alot. Its pretty rural. so if u like the country side, wet and cold, then i think it might be 4 u.
Very hilly. I lived on the outskirt of their capital city, cardiff. My road was called 'Hill View', this was becos the houses were built on the side of a hill. Dont worry, they levelled out the foundation before they done the buildings.
Think of a hill with steps, and houses on each of those steps, that was my street.
We had a local shop which was located at the bottom of the hill. There was two purposely built roads for the villagers to commute to and fro. anyways, wenever we needed groceries, i got sent. The trip down there would take all of 10 secs on my skateboard, flat on my back to reduce lag. It was pretty fun.
Altho coming back up was a dif story, specially with a couple of heavy bags of groceries. i was 11 yrs old.

I prefer warm and moist to cold and wet. Then again, I don't play the necrophilia card. to each his/her own.
Thanks all...I will pass on the info....He really wants to get to London, but has friends he can stay with in Wales.
