Yeah, I love the Veyrons, even if they do look like a big sneaker (basketball shoe for those of you not in the US)

Top Gear tested one of these against a new strike force fighter. The Bugatti had to go one mile down the runway and back before the jet could go one mile up then back down to the starting point. If you have not seen this episode, I will not spoil it for you. I will say this, it makes for some very interesting television.

supposedly the SSC Ultimate Aero is a bit faster...clocked at 256Mph.

American performance-car maker SSC is to tackle the Bugatti Veyron’s 253mph record for the world’s fastest road car with this, its Ultimate Aero TT (above). Powered by a 1183bhp twin-turbo 6.2-litre V8, the company hopes the TT will reach in excess of 270mph.

A test run on a closed 12-mile section of Highway 93 in Nevada saw the Aero TT reach 230mph at 56% full throttle in top gear, but a snow-storm (gulp) and cracking tarmac prevented the car from running the full length of the course.

I think I'd rather have the bugatti anyway

Those are nice cars 2 but u cant drive those in our pot-holed filled city

Wonder if they are dirt road friendly?
