Just a reminder that in the background this place runs on time and money. Sure, the meat and potatoes of a great forum are the members themselves and we have some of the best.
Unfortunately that doesn't always equal compensation. Many of us (myself included) after time take this place for granted and that goes for the Noobster/VIP's especially. I think we just assume all this great stuff that Han posts/uploads is not that big of deal.
What about Drumbo? A quiet mofo who as you have noticed once again, has been hard at work upgrading this place and making sure it runs like a pimped out race car.
So...

Awesome man, thanks!
I just through in $30 myself :)
Jantheman 03-02-08, 07:50 PM I subscribe, too. After a personal message from Majorhan himself, I felt obligated to do something. Where else can you get the best movies, the best posts and the uncommon knowledge that we all possess. Plus the insight of Mawk and the poetry of the Pooka, this place is a true bargain at any price. I will continue....
Ablekaak 03-02-08, 10:22 PM I would like to do more but I am pretty strapped for cash right now, so I will click some ads and stuff at least. :nrocks:

Yup, good thats what I'm talking about. Even if you have $0 cash to donate, hitting those ads 1 or 2 times a week pays off, and its free :)
I'll probably bugger around with the ads at least, since I'm a broke ass foo' for the time being. I can't even keep up payments to my clan's gaming server, let alone this place. Hell, I can barely afford a damn beer!
*note to self, dig up all those ex-girlfriend's e-mail addy's and get ready to have some spamtastic fun for Noobsters profit!*
mweh yer all twats, used to run shit like this off my own pooter.... hang on.. fook me thats true
Shit, my internet identity is blown....I'm really a monopedal slovak with good shotputting skills <no one will notice>
vicious 03-03-08, 12:32 AM I did manage to send in like 25 bucks the other week. I know this is a grain of salt comparatively.. but I like buying things for myself too much. If there was an option for like 3months of VIP or something like, I'd be a bit more eager to hit that button. Maybe I'm just being a greedy asshole, probably, but yeah. :fly:
I'll happily continue to donate. As a professional geek, I understand the costs (Monetary and Personal) of running a forum.
Noobsters is The Balls!
"Pay Pay Pay
What you want but don't leave us without donation
Give Give Give
You won't regret all of your contribution
All alone, your puter you sit in front of, reading threads, threads
All day long trying to find the best answers ever
You know you're posting ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh"

MostlyHarmless 03-05-08, 08:40 PM Yeah, every now and then a handy piece of software lands on my hard drive from here. So I figured I should give back a wee bit. Plus, it's like I know most of you guys' online personalities, and if I ever go where one of y'all lives, you'll prolly buy me a pint :)
I got yer pint right here....

MostlyHarmless 03-06-08, 07:16 AM If you look like your Av, I just may ;)
njohnson747 03-06-08, 09:50 PM Given Drumbo's badass new additions to the site this thread topic is especially timely. Thanks [X].
Can you imagine one day going online, cruising to this cozy corner of the internet only to find that HOLY CRAP! Noobsters is gone! It's an unlikely scenario made less likely with your donation. I should note that Majorhan has things set up so that communication channels are open Uhura-style and that the business operation is lean and mean but hey - who wants to picture a 'net without Noobsters? Give back mofos or one day you could find yourself clamoring to be a member of bottomlessvoid.org!
Every time I donate I always revive the call to donate cash (and you can check my threads and track exactly when and how much I have given that way). I know some of the veterans get a bit bored with this message....Che! ;) Jokes aside we all know it's a fact of life and business. Noobsters can not live on titties and bad taste alone.
In my experience Majorhan is always glad to have even the smallest donation put into the Noobsters budget because that means the site just bought itself some more time. This is the ONLY donation I make annually to any business entity for two reasons: the site is important to me and - now this is critical - I know absolutely that every penny I contribute gets invested into Noobsters 100%. That's a fact.:nrocks:
I don't know which is more important - quality content contributed early and often to Noobsters or donations. At this point I think they are linked. Keep the community alive and give back. You'll be glad you did. This means YOU ungrateful, cheapskate toilers and intellectual voyeurs! :frustrated: ;)
I for one, am proud to be an ungrateful, cheapskate toiler and intellectual voyeur!
Yay ME!
njohnson747 03-06-08, 10:11 PM You're alright fourq2 you keep me in line. :tazed:
DON'T TAZE ME BRO'!!
:uhno:
tonyrone99 03-07-08, 12:19 AM Thank you very much for this timely and very necessary post Hyperx. Hell, I didn't even realize that ads were here to help out with the costs!
Jantheman 03-24-08, 09:11 PM I know the feeling of going to a site and finding out its gone. When Tesco was having its problems, my heart was broken. I missed being humiliated daily by a bunch of sneaky, intellectual snobs that I did not even know. Now I know who is saying what and who is the shit. Also, I have friends in cyberspace that are all around the world, not just Indiana or The United States. I do enjoy my time here at Noobsters and invite every one who reads this to cough up the change and back a winner. It is well worth the price.
ZeroAccuracy 05-09-08, 02:13 PM Can't afford to toss any in, but I'll click some adds. How much does it cost to keep this place up?
th3n00b 05-09-08, 05:01 PM Donation link is working now. UPLOAD YOUR $$$ NOW BITCHES!
MostlyHarmless 05-09-08, 05:54 PM And remember, If you're hard up for cash, log in anonymous and click the ads. It's free and it donates to the website.
philemmons 05-09-08, 05:59 PM Logged out and clicked on the ads...It took all of 30 secs to click on 10. C'mon peeps, you can do it!
CLiCKY< CLICKY
MostlyHarmless 05-10-08, 06:25 AM I just popped a dime ($10) in the coffers. I need to save my pennies to make Jeep Mark II though. It has some issues that need attending to. Nothing major. I just like a radio without a faulty power line and no rust in the floorboards.
sithkhan 05-16-08, 04:28 AM I like to open noobsters in Safari and click the ads.
I also reupped my subscription, and added $25 somethings to the donation pot.
