Livid yet calm
Calm concerning
What is to come

Frightened yet not,
Not for long
Strengthened by life

Saddened yet joyful
Joyful for us
Elated by the future

In complete turmoil
Yet at peace
With everything

A poet's soul,
We are tested, yet victorious
Victorious yet conquered
