hello squits, long time. Like Han said, i signed over all my possession, time, life, fighting spirit few months ago. Any little will that i had for fighting has been rendered useless by this 'wife' thing. Auto mode has kicked in. Go work, pay bills, more work, pay more bills....and so on...

Anywho, Mojo, what server you boys been playing on lately? And I'm guessing you're all still swearing by ETPro, bloody tripe that it feels like last couple of times I've gone back to bugger around on it.

I havnt been in for the last 5/6months. Not even sure there are many good servers left. Hirntot is normally a good server. good settings, friendly ppl. All this talk is making me wanna install it again. maybe tmrw...hhhmm

I hear ya loud and clear! I am looking forward to it actually. First times are always the hardest, but i know it will be ok. Got loads of ppl to go to if i get into probs cos of the large family we have on both sides.

Hirn is a very nicely cfg'd server as u know, i'm playing there quiet a bit these days. was a rly nice game on there last night: balanced teams, couple of good shooters on each side etc. naturally i was spec, this nub's gotta get all the tips he can!

a recent pb update has been keeping a few gimps off the servers for a while, so things have been ok in my pubnub world. yuz, i'm still <3'ing et and still getting pwnd. but i picked up a few bananatips on my way that help ease the pwning pain ;)

but i just wanna explain myself here. though i don't know u in real life, of all the players i eva specced, or played alongside, u appeared to cut teh shit coz u wuz always helpin the team **ON A PUB** and came across a gamer who had his fun and gave a shit. these qualities ol bean, are all important, as i will explain:

back in the day ET had me nothing less than MESMERISED (it still does), as it was my first dive into online gaming. what a great game! the difference between a newbie and a good player is worlds apart. the animations still retain so much of their charm in comparison to todays next-gen titles and the boundaries for improving your skill seemingly without end. during those early days i needed to spec sum1 who had a vague idea of what they were doing so i could improve my game a little... whether u knew it or not u taught me most of what it means to be an online gamer let alone an ET Player or medic.

on a broader note, lets just consider that online gaming is still in its infancy, we're still developing our virtual skills, language etc, and yet finally the medium is becomming more readily accepted by 'the masses' as a legitimate form of entertainment. in some small way we're all a part of this new era, and in the future of gaming we'll have been the true old skool players. our online attitude should serve as an example to others. sorry, this post is all a bit 'wtf' eh? hehe, but i think its still relevant none the less ;)

leaving a legacy to others in gaming? u better believe it...

yes i made a come back yesterday. Fixed my line and got a new rig (old one died on me), thought i boot up ET to test it. Wacked all settings on highest, no slow down and good fps. Did have problems tho.
Apparently, ET dont like multi cores CPU, so had to disable 3 of them. And doesnt like my desktop extended to my TV so i had to disable that also.

My aim was way off, but still got some dance moves :men_ani::men_ani:

ET is still da best, cos its FREE!!!
