Way to rub it in, the nearest White Castle is 52 miles away in Hackettstown, NJ. I try to hit it up whenever I'm in Jersey, but that's still a hell of a drive for tiny burgers.

heh heh, no just outside of Allentown, PA. Dammit, it's the third largest city in PA after Philly and Pittsburgh, it has it's own Billy Joel song, and it's the anchor for the Lehigh Valley, and I want some good goddamn burgers besides the 3 mcdonald's within 10 minutes of me!

Eat your heart out, guys. White Castle is less than two miles from the house. Hardee's is about three miles away as the crow flies. McDonalds is a little over two miles away. It pays to live close to an Interstate. (I-65 at Exit 99 in Indiana).

Jan, you officially are an asshat. :P Damnit, all the good fast food places in my area are gone. Hardee's:Left town, White Castle:Never had one, Sonic:Never had one... If I hit the highway I can get to a Krispy Kreme in about 20 minutes (too damn far for a friggin donut). All we have where I live beside the norm (KFC, Taco Bell, Burger King, McDonalds, Subway, Happy Wok) is a few very local sammich shops.

Indiana has some damn good food places. Skyline chili? Hell yes. Max & Erma's? Hell yes.
About the only places I can claim any bragging rights for would be that we have 2 Hamburger Stands (of supposedly only about 24 scattered around the country), and we have Yocco's.

Wow, I guess I really can't complain TOO much then. Vegas has a pretty decent food selection. Pretty much everything except White Castle, ah well I can still get In-N-Out...

Skyline chili is the best ever. I eat there everytime I am in N. Kentucky and Cincinnati. I can however, get frozen skyline at the local Publics and Cincinnati chili mix at the local Kroger. We have no white castles in the south, but we do have krystals. But you are all missing the best fast food restaraunts, Chik-fil-a and panera bread. Jersey Mikes has good sandwiches also.

Chik-fil-a is pretty bangin', there is one of those about 20 minutes away, and there's actually two(!) panera breads, one about 20 minutes away (in the same parking lot as the chik-fil-a, oddly enough), and the other is maybe 25 minutes away. Both great.

we had a Burger King here on the compound, but it closed. We still have a crappy Subway and a shitty pizza place though...
