This was in The Daily Mail today. I love the "sharpish" bit.

Bathers saved from becoming shark's dinner by helicopter sighting
27th November 2007
If they'd had the benefit of the aerial view enjoyed by a helicopter crew, bathers in Australia would have got out of the water sharpish.
The sinister shadow circled is a great white shark lurking just beneath the ocean surface and only a few metres from what would be a feast of human flesh.
The picture was taken from a helicopter whose crew, within seconds of realising the danger, alerted lifeguards to clear the shallows off Byron Bay, New South Wales.
A passenger on the helicopter said: "It was pretty scary seeing the monster so close to swimmers. Its size was awesome. It could have eaten someone in two bites."
Marine experts say cold temperatures further out to sea have encouraged the small fish which make up the great white's normal diet to move closer to the coastline, bringing the fearsome predator with them.
"If they don't find any fish, well, it's look out surfers," said one local. "I come down to the beach frequently and I've never heard as many shark sightings as I have in recent weeks.
"Some have seen fins just 30ft from the shore."
A week ago, two teenage girls spent 30 minutes clinging to a piece of shipwreck as a shark circled them off Byron Bay.
