it seems to work
apparently BT have been blocking RS and / or RS have been having major problems with a few of their servers !?

I've been downloading things over here in The States all day and night for the past 72 hours from RS with no problems whatsoever. Sorry about your troubles over there. Any hiccup in RS service anywhere gives me chills.
I'll stay tuned to your RapidShare reports, Jon. We know that fateful day will come when RS will be no more (for whatever reason) and we will be left to mourn and to search for a new sharing service with significant market share. That's the big issue in the wake of RS. Where will the millions of subscibers run to when you can no longer share on RapidShare? Let's just keep paying our dues and praying that day does not come soon when RS is no more. And keep downloading your maximum 5 gigs per day!

Yep. Maybe the waters got a little muddy while crossing the pond, but on our side it's fresh and sweet and crystal clear. Don't know what to tell ya. Good link tho.
It's been on mind the past few weeks, wtf happens when RS is no more. Links are dying faster and faster these days, its not even funny.

But hey - let's not start worrying again about RS dying until we read some facts from reliable sources like we did last year during the big lawsuit scare. Remember: one year ago they dodged a court injunction by moving servers from Germany to Switzerland and it worked beautifully. RapidShare is a multi-million dollar business and it would seem to be in safe, smart hands.
