Wow, can't really argue with that.

Hell, I can argue both sides of the argument, (as I often do, to annoy people), but I side 1/2 and 1/2 on this one... Both points (racist vs realism) are equally good but the right to free speech trumps all.

You think it's possible to successfully argue that the Mexican Olympic team (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mexico_at_the_Olympics) doesn't exist... AND the reason it doesn't is because all their best runner (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ana_Guevara)s and swimmers are already in the U.S.?

Or did you mean you could argue that it's not racist?

Thats funny, but it seems ok to slag off mexicans its like christians in the UK they are fair game for some reason. I bet it wouldn't be ok if the billboard said the same about indians

Well, my argument on 1st hand would be: Well, that's downright (hmm, not racist, we're talking about a country I guess) wrong. They're poking fun at a group of people in poverty that are just looking for a better place to live and support their families back home. On the other hand 2: I've got one or two friends who live in Texas. Immigration is almost as bothersome there as it is in Cali. So, I side with them in saying "If you want to enter this country, FINE! But do it legally, get taxed like everybody else here, and quit sending your American dollars to other countries. We need that cash to stay here, and in circulation.... desperately."

That's my 50/50.

Actually alot of the money they make here is used for purchases that are then sent back to Mexico. I remember seeing this one guy clean out the jean section at a GAP store, one of my ex's used to work there and she told me that the dude had racked up a $17,000 bill. He was going to ship it to Mexico and sell it there. It depends on the individual of course, because there are some that live in shacks to save up as much as they can and then leave.
