ATLANTA (AP) - Warden Frank Taylor wants satellite TV -- for his prisoners. Taylor is asking Clayton County, Georgia, commissioners for permission to spend $100 a month for the satellite TV service. He says he wants inmates to be able to watch "Monday Night Football," which is now on the ESPN cable network. Warden Taylor says having MNF available would be a so-called "management tool" he can use with the prison population. He says the TV subscription fee would come out of the prison's commissary and pay phone accounts.

MT. WASHINGTON MOONS

MOUNT WASHINGTON, N.H. (AP) - The view from the historic Cog Railway on Mount Washington is spectacular. But not all passengers are ready to see the moons. It's a tradition of sorts for hikers to drop their drawers and moon the train as it goes up the New Hampshire mountain. Station Master Laura Hardiman says reaction varies from embarrassed giggles to crying children. It has gotten so bad, undercover officers have been riding the train. Hardiman says eight hikers, including a woman, have been caught with their pants down. They've been given summons to pay a fine or appear in federal court in Concord.

101-POINT VICTORY

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Talk about a point spread! The Lady Bisons of Lipscomb University in Nashville beat crosstown rival Fisk by 101 points Tuesday night. The final score was 123-22. It's not even an NCAA Division I women's basketball record. The Lady Bisons' margin of victory was one point shy of the all-time mark set back 1986. Lipscomb coach Frank Bennett wasn't trying to run up the score. He says he emptied his bench early in the second half, but his players still kept making baskets. And they couldn't sit on the ball because of the 30-second shot clock. Couch Bennett complements the other side, saying Fisk played hard but they just played the Lady Bisons on the wrong night.

RUNAWAY PIGS

DAVENPORT, Iowa (AP) - Two little pigs make for some big problems. It took animal control officers and police 35 minutes to capture two pot-bellied pigs running through the streets of Davenport, Iowa. Animal control officer Leah Messmer says they're tough "little buggers." She notes the fat little pigs really don't have any necks, so you can't get a collar on them. The animals were darting in and out of traffic, posing a danger to themselves and drivers trying to avoid them. One pig was cornered behind a hotel, the other was captured in a car lot. Officers figure the runaway porkers are someone's escaped pets.

LOST FIGHTER PLANE

(AP) - A rare World War II war bird has emerged from the surf and sea in Wales. An American P-38 "Lightning" has been discovered on a beach in the U.K. It had crashed-landed some 65 years ago. For decades British beach-goers were just yards from the two-engine, twin-tailed plane. Experts say unusual conditions and shifting sands briefly exposed the plane. Experts from the Delaware-based International Group for Historic Aircraft Recovery and the British Museum are planning a recovery effort. The plane is reported to be in relatively good condition and could be the oldest surviving P-38 anywhere.

TEXTING FOR PIZZA

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Now, you can text for your pizza. Papa John's is accepting cell phone text messages to order a large pepperoni or whatever topping you would like. It's the next step after online pizza ordering. Papa John's head Nigel Travis envisions patrons whipping out their Blackberries to order a pizza from the mall or movie theater and having it waiting at home when they arrive. Text ordering requires pre-registration and is now available at all Papa John's.

MT. WASHINGTON MOONS: Ok, now thats funny, but if I lived up there, I would check to see if the train had opening windows, and it it did... I'd give those moons some surface craters with a paintball gun. (In the name of law enforcement, of course. To umm, help identify mooners. That's it.)
