Here's a cautionary tale if you've ever been out with friends at a bar and had them taunt you about something - be careful what you do about it. That's what a couple in the town of Trebic, Czechoslovakia discovered, after they were continually teased about why their baby didn't look anything like them.
The couple was enjoying night out at a bar with friends, while their 10-month-old daughter was at home with a caregiver. After a few rounds, the same subject they'd heard from regulars before came up to haunt them again - they had dark hair but the kid was blonde. And as the drinks flowed, the pub patrons not-so-subtly suggested there might be something wrong with that.
So the by-now buzzed duo finally decided to answer their dare by declaring they'd take a DNA test to settle the issue once and for all. And they did. They waited for the results to come in and were understandably stunned by what they found. The lab reported their little girl bore no genetic matches to her parents at all and that the child - whoever she really was - wasn't theirs.
The bewildered mom and dad have contacted the hospital where the baby was born, demanding to know if their child was somehow switched at birth - and if so, where their real offspring is now. So far, the facility and authorities have no answers, but admit they're investigating
