The jigsaw puzzle is one of the least hi-tech toys ever made, but now the jigsaw puzzle has 21st century updates and techies are taking over a game that was once easy enough to be enjoyed by toddlers. Enter Eternity II, a new jigsaw puzzle-style game so complicated that two students had to use a computer program to solve its predecessor. Two technical whiz kids became the first to put the puzzle together in 1999 and won a high cash prize for their efforts. Now, Eternity II is posing a fresh new puzzle and the person to solve it wins $2 MILLION for their troubles! The game is made of 256 square pieces bordered by colorful patterns which must be aligned across the whole of the puzzle. The only copy of the solution to the game exists in a London bank vault. Those not in the know about Eternity II might be thinking - wait a minute, $2 MILLION for doing a jigsaw puzzle? How hard can it be? Well, harder than you think! While ordinary jigsaw puzzles have just one way of being solved, there are literally thousands of ways to solve Eternity II. In fact, it could take someone an eternity to finish, unless they are very clever! Game Players have until December 31, 2008 to crack Eternity II. Entries will be date stamped and then analyzed, and the first correct puzzle received will be the winner!
