Stupid question

I have a shitload of family pictures - is it better to pay a business to scan them or should I buy a scanner and do it myself? I'm a tad it lazy, if that makes a difference. Thanks, n00bsters!

just buy one, their dirt cheap now the multi function print/fax/scan/copy AIO machines have taken off...takes about 4 seconds to scan a photo.

Yeah, my wife can't even use the universal remote, and she uses the scanner all the time, ours was free!

Buy one. Never know when you;ll find other old photos you'll wanna scan. You know, the photos that were taken late one night years ago. The ones that involve the leather whip, handcuffs, and 3 cans of whip cream.

buy an all in one printer/scanner/copier/fax combo ...........100 or 150 for good ones .......covers it..

I agree... an AIO (All in one, printer/scanner/fax) would be nice. (altho you dont need the fax (I assume), it's nice to have the option.
