I know this is a terrible thing to say but that pic reminded me at first of all the Holocaust horror stories about things that twisted Nazi's used to make out of body parts. Like Ilsa Koch aka "The Bitch of Buchenwald" that (among other atrocities at the death camp) made lampshades from human skin. So seeing that foot was a bit jarring. But not offensive - offensive might be the term used to describe the foot odor eminating from a worn pair of the blue Vibram mocs pictured above. At least if they were on my feet, anyway.
