I was doing some digging in my back yard and found this buried in my yard. Anybody got any idea what it is?

Yeah its iron for sure, pretty heavy. I think it kinda looks like a fish skeleton with two heads.. beats me.

From the look of it it's used to keep grooves or cutters clear of debris or something like that . With the bolt hole being in the tongue there it appears that it would swing into place on something . Maybe something to keep debris from building up in a runoff culvert or irrigation flue??? heh But these are only guess's.

looks like a hinge to a toilet tissue holder for a intergalatic spaceship, but my guess is just as good as anyones else

Probably a piece from a concrete mixer, a gravel sifter or something that keeps stuff from mixing with other stuff.
