I don't know if you guys are familiar with the story of the Mad Trapper, but I have always found it pretty interesting.. Basically This trapper shows up in the Canadian North back in the 1930s, ends up shooting a police officer and then leads the police on a huge man hunt that lasted for weeks. The guy was almost uncatchable.. He climbed over mountains with no gear in the middle of blizzards, and survived insane conditions, all while evading the police. He had never really been identified, and is a mystery. Anyways check these links out if you want to read about it more..

A movie was made based on this story, it was called Death Hunt with Charles Bronson and Lee Marvin.. Its older but a good flick.

Cool. Good post man. Eveen the freakin' Eskimos were awed by this real-life badass of the frontier. And it gave me some cinematic inspiration...

Any movie with Lee Marvin and Charles Bronson in it makes for a CLASSIC film that must be viewed. Never knew it existed until now. Thanks!

I will put that on my Netflix list straight away. Bronson and Marvin together? Hell, that means "The Dirty Dozen" meets "The Great Escape". "Delta Force" meets "Death Wish". Can't wait!
