running vista ultimite give it 7 out of 10 but still finding my way around, 1 thing is driving me up the wall is every time i try and play a film that i have downloaded w/media player 11 it as jerky as hell and it is more like a slide show ????????????????????????
any ideas woul be good .

Got a decent codec pack? try http://www.free-codecs.com/ K-Lite is good as in All-in-one although I have to say I dont use Vista

Just install winamp, still the simplest and the best. Then install the codec pack. You didn't actually pay for vista, did you?
