Gang - I'm getting ready to switch jobs - I will be traveling two weeks a month to various cities in Louisiana. First, any advice for on-the-road wifi advice is welcome. I will have connectivity in the hotel rooms, but will be looking for local spots as I work. I know to Google war-driving or whatever, but am looking for more pointed advice. I have a/b/g wifi options. The other is a different question: Can I import all my cookies and passwords from Firefox on my desktop to my tablet? If so, how? Thanks, n00bsters!!!

For FF there are a couple of options, I use both. First off, to get your current profile from your desktop to the tablet, install FF on the tablet. You will want the FEBE extension on both computers. Take the FEBE on the desktop and back up your entire profile. Then on the tablet you will have FF and FEBE, import the backed up profile and it will give you all your cookies, saved passwords, extensions, etc. Now the two are identical. (You are going to have to create a new profile and such, if you need help, pm me at that time).
Now the second thing you will need is Google browser sync extension. With this, any changes made on one machine will be copied to the other machine when you use it. This way the two will always be the same.
Let me know if you need any help.

^^^^Me too but in order to get the two versions of FF to be identical including extensions, etc., you will need the FEBE I believe. Or you could find the profile folder and copy the contents. Depends on which way you want to do it. I like FEBE because I know if the computer crashes I still have a copy of all of my FF stuff...
