Logitech Setpoint Bug

Ever since this past weekend when my Logitech Setpoint did an update to itself, updating to the latest version, it's been going haywire. Occasionally while I'm scrolling web pages, and even not doing anything at all. The cursor keep automatically going backwards, and when I open a menu, it keeps going tho the others rapidly in a loop. Like from File to Edit to View and so on. I can only get it to stop by closing Setpoint and restarting it, but it still keeps happening sometimes. I've even been forced to reboot my system if I can't close the program or get into Task Manager to close it there. Anyone else have this problem? Think it might be a bug in the newest version of Setpoint?

I know the software that came w/ my Mx Lazer 20x was buggy with the hardware out of the box causing those same types of errors. But I was made aware of this while researching before buying it, and I knew they had a firmware update with the new ones they were shipping out. So I just did a quick RMA, just had to send the mouse back- now I have 2 bases and 1 mouse, but it works right. I don't know if that'll help ya, but it got rid of my sticky ickies.

Not sure if this will help but perhaps most logical ,

Option 1/ Untick the automagic game detection thing see if that helps 330 is allegedly Fooked ( well it was for my g5 , but seems ok now)
Option 2 /uninstal drivers reboot see if the pyscotic mouse syndrome continues... then grabl
grab the older version that worked (ftp://ftp.logitech.com/pub/techsupport/mouse/)

Now To get some breakfast!

I've had my cordless keyboard & cordless laser mouse for a long time, and never had a problem. I checked all the settings before posting this and made sure that game detection was off cuz I knew that. Reinstalled Setpoint, but havn't done a clean install. Think I'll just try that tonight and see what happens.
