Protected music

A friend downloaded some drm protected mp3 recently. He called me a little while ago and asked if there is anything to remove the protection from them?

I personally have no idea as I've never tried to download anything that's drm protected.

Anyone have any idea's on how this can be done?

burn to CD > rip from CD to mp3 (I think) :D
