Ok bad enough they ass rape me with a gigantic bill every month now when I use the guide they put a fucking advertisement bar at the bottom!

Holy shit Pile that is just what pissed me off bigtime last week. We get cable hooked up and when I go to scroll down the channels damned if there wasn't an advertisment I had to skip past as well. Every fifth channel isn't a channel it's some bullshit ad bar. I have to keep pushing button after button on the remote control just to surf past their ad bars to find the channel listing I want. What a bunch of crap!

My girlfriend asked me what I was cussing at the TV for and then I showed her. She doesn't mind but I sure do. I don't like being bombarded by ads EVERYWHERE including at the toilet stalls when I am trying to take a piss and the grocery aisle where I know have a TV screen stuck in my face playing ads. I just want to get on with my day, dammit, so quit shelling me with requests for my money in exchange for your ripoff product.

Hating comcast too, I went with direct tv. They are not as annoying, but still has its ups and downs.

comcasts are a bunch of invilids that have no fricken clue ...you get what you hire...i miss my old black box...anyone know where to find on now?

Cablevision is a muthafucka too. High prices that ain't gettin any cheaper, put you on hold for like forever when you call them up, & shoddy customer service with people who read from a script and then end up having to send someone out for the problem.

Only use cable for the internet...got Dish for the pictures and are quite happy with this arrangement .....at least for now.

Fuck, they've been putting ads like that on the cable listings here for years, if you ever get the misfortune of dealing with Shaw. I don't notice it much, since I watch MAYBE five hours of the idiot box a week, three of them being a hockey game on Saturday night, the other two being Heroes and Black Donnellys on Mondays if/when they're on.

Then again, given that the other option is going with a dish, and then seeing my internet and phone price jumping through the roof, I'm pretty much stuck as it stands, and the other local ISP is just pure shit.

I have one channel programmed into my favorites list. Fox Soccer Channel. I can turn the tv on and go to it from memory. I make the wife surf for all her stupid makeover top model pimp my house flipping.

I could do without all the friggin spanish channels. My favorite channel is the sex toy channel, hours of HSN gone wrong. dildos, blow up dolls, and the such. All in HD too. LOL
