I am looking to buy some base line renters insurance in CA. No need for $100k accidential, or $1k medical crap. Actual replacement cost a must. Farmers and allstate roll it into homeowners insurance with the accidential and medical coverage, which is VERY expensive, especially with actual replacement cost. So lets see what noobsters can do.... post or pm some links for me to check....
Think of it as a contest.... lmao!!!!!

I will check them out now. Of course I have looked into the more obvious ones too... :)
Wait, Allstate is charging you through the nose for renters insurance? You going through a different company for your car insurance then?
I'm setting up my renters insurance with them next week, and I've been with them for car insurance for a bit now. I'm looking at roughly $116CDN quoted monthly for actual cost/$25,000 repayment covering the basics (fire, theft, yadda), and my basic minimal on my car, which is reasonable. Their homeowners insurance is through the roof though, mainly because the local housing market costs more than most of Cali anymore.

No car at all CJ ... When I did have a car, I went to "The Wawanesa Mutual Insurance Company" - www.wawanesa.com/....way cheaper with more coverage...its a canadian ins. co. too. Did they roll within the policy 100k accidetial, and 1k medical coverage? Thier quote was $300+ USD /month....I
laughed!!!! They told me they didn't offer straight renters insurance. I remember the days of $15/month fro ARC, and 25K coverage.....
off topic ..check out the auto ins company I mention.... it will surprise you, as it did me.
