Church of Scientology leader David Miscavige has reportedly told Tom Cruise (http://fametastic.co.uk/tag/Tom+Cruise) that the actor has been “chosen” to spread his faith around the world and compares him to Jesus Christ.
A source claiming to be close to the actor is quoted in the Sun as saying: “Tom has been told he is Scientology’s Christ-like figure.”
“Like Christ, he’s been criticised for his views. But future generations will realise he was right.”

"chosen"? wouldn't that go against everything scientology stands for. Chosen implies that a higher power selected Tom Cruise to be the leader adn that would be fate and that all our lives are preplanned by a higher power. Welcome to the world of hypocrosy/religion.
