Silent Memory

The hospital stench
Soaks into my nostrils
The cold hands
Break into my mind

It never leaves,
It never finds the way out
The cries, the screams
Still echo in my ear

The soul holds it
In the deepest pocket
Never releasing
Never sated

My mothers shoulder,
Wasn?t strong enough~
It shouldn?t have to be,
It breaks with her daughters cry

Where were you?
When that part of me died
Where were you,
When I broke inside

just dont invite her to xmas this year :)

YEA!!! another Iso poem!!! Wow, I don't know how to feel on this one. Great imagery. Did you just have someone come into your life and leave it (not die) or did you actually have someone die in your life??? Regardless I enjoyed reading it and it touched me. Keep up the great writing.
