Waiting for my camera

So I won and bought this camera for $100 on e-bay on Christmas night. Came to $125 with shipping. The camera looks appealing, but i hope it's not gonna be screwed up. I haven't received it yet. The seller shipped it via FedEx from California, and when I check the tracking of it on the FedEx web site, it says "Dec. 29 : Arrived at FedEx location." No other updates since. An the estimated time of delivery is Jan. 5, which is 2 days from now. It's messed up too, cuz I placed another order from Florida, not a seller on E-Bay, something else, on Dec, 25 night also and I received that package today through regular mail delivery. Plus, I've tried finding reviews of this camera through Google and yahoo searches but no luck. Maybe because it's a new model from this company. But I was checking the sellers feedback, and a majority of his feedback is positive, but he does have hi fair share of negative, with people saying their cameras suck. Thing is though, all the item numbers for the products that people left feedback for are marked "Private", so I can't even see that items that people are leaving the positive and negative feedback for. Uugghh. I guess I'm just anxious to get this damn Camera I got so good of a deal on and check to see if it's what they say it is in the auction or if it's a piece of crap. Oh well, guess I'll just have to wait till Friday and see if I receive it or not. If not, I'm not gonna be a happy camper I tell ya that.

I have the Canon Powershot SD450 and love it.

Yeah, I'll let ya know how it is uglytruckling. And I know it's not a major brand. That's why I got it at the price I did. Other vendors are selling it as a Buy It Now for $135+, so figure $35 less than those other vendors through auction style, still not bad, but eh, we'll see....... just hope it performs somewhat close to a canon, or any of the other major names....

Had a Canon Powershot G5 at my last job and loved it. So I stik with cannon

and the sd630 is the only camera I've found with a 3 inch screen.. The next largest I've seen is 2.5 inch.

Yeah bought one recently too on Ebay, 300 bucks but they are selling them for about 600 in the shops as far as I have seen! Its a Sony DSC-N2 10.1MP camera with a 2GB memory card! :)

Thats a hell of a deal if it takes good photo's. Best way to check it out try and take a picture in low light and see if its real grainy.

So I got the camera today. Tried it out here in my apartment by taking a few test pics. My opinion...... Pretty damn good so far. I'mma test it more tomorrow by taking some more pics outside and inside with daylight. Right now it's night, so it's dark, and it's raining outside, so I ain't gonna think of going outside right now. Guess I'll just relax, have a couple beers and watch my two little fisheys. I'll get some pics up when I can.
