just a post count / participation system of sorts.....starting with yellow stars and first the number of stars increase and then the colors change and so on and so forth...

Okay, I figured this out on my own so if it is not right, sorry. The color of the star refers to thousands of posts and the number of stars refers to hundreds within that thousand. Yellow is less that 1000, grey is 1001 - 2000, green is 2001 - 3000, blue is 3001 - 4000, red is 4000 - 5000. More than 5000 posts (means your a tool, lol) is just 10 red stars. For example, if you have 1,123 posts you would have 2 grey stars and if you have 475 posts you have 5 yellow stars.

If this does not make sense, ask someone who set it up, aka drumbo.
