Proxy Help

I have recently downloaded Hide IP Platnum. I am having trouble getting the proxy service to work with my wireless router. I use a router both at work and at home. Is there something special I need to do to get the router to give out the proxy IP instead of my real ip? Please help if you can.

I do not want to ask those shitheads anything. I have the proxy program and it tells me I am using another IP. Then I check it on the internet and it still shows my real IP. I know it has to be something with my firewall, browser, or router. I have no idea what it is though. Why I asked the SMART peeps here.

don't trust the program. take the extra time to do it yourself.
use firefox or opera
there used to be a ff extension for this
opera you should be able to drag a button called "Enable Proxy Servers" to the toolbar to turn on/off proxies

pick a proxy that is "high anonimity"
now go do something bad
