Theres a huge ship building yard there NASSCO (my son in law is a ship builder) Newport News shipyard. NASCO does the frigates and LHA's. Plus the aircraft carriers never go under the bridge. I'm not sure if it's security or they just don't fit but they never go past the Coronado Bridge. Side not according to Wikipedia the bridge was designed if it collapses they can tow the debris out of the way so the ships can leave. source (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/San_Diego-Coronado_Bridge) jod 11-18-06, 11:38 PM nice one pile, that is an erection i can admire without getting all ghey http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/2/2e/Coronado_Bridge_1.JPG njohnson747 11-18-06, 11:51 PM That rudder is monsterous!
