Purchase RS premium?

How many of y'all have rapidshare premium accounts? And, should I actually buy one or just keeping playing bitch to the limitations? Any advice would be great. Thanks

It will pay for itself in about 3 hours. I think that you and a few others that only use it moderatly should all go in and get one account to share. As long as no one is an asshole and changes the pass you will be okay. If you up alot of stuff and post everywhere, you could possible earn enough points to keep it going for free.

i had one, sometimes 2 or 3 together till last month, don't have the time to dload much anymore so stopped......

but if u got a good cable connection and wanna dload ......its the way to go....

I thought RapidShare was the best...until it turned into RapidShare.com just weeks ago. Now there are two "RapidShare" sites: the old one I liked called RapidShare.de and the new one - RapidShare.com.

Since I am paid up with RapidShare.de until mid-December they gave me a free account on .com that expires at the same time. But the reason I'm not going to renew my 3-month subscription is because the new .com site does not as of yet have an attached downloader like the .de site did. RapidShare.de came with RapidGet which checked all your links for you and was (a bit) simpler to use then the independant alternative downloader Flashget. In my opinion.

Now I know this opinion regarding RapidGet as a must-have for the new site is not an opinion felt by all on Noobsters but I think it is essential. Incidentally, RapidShare.de is still working but closed to new upload entries...they all go on RapidShare.com which still does not come with a convenient downloader like RapidGet so I'm not renewing. Damn.

My advice is to try a one month subscription for 25 Euroes (approximately $12 USD) and see how you like it. That's the best way to go. That's how I started back in June.

At this point I'm wishing I didn't have this last month to go on my subscription because I barely use it without the convenient downloader. But you may find things look a bit different when you try it - so give it a try! I will to - once they build in a downloader that I like on .com or I get better aquainted with Flashget.

njohnson, you tried rapget. not as good, but will work until they get their shit together.

I'm using Mass Downloader it works with anything.
