Ok we got a few members asking WTF are the hide tags or hidden content banner and how can we view the full post.

Easy enough press the thanks button or comment on the post / THEN refresh the page.

All the post is ready to view.

Can all the members who post vault material also use the code tags including hide tags from now on.

Putting useful info like this into a auto pm to new registered members would help a lot as well.

we have 4 rules

1. use the code tags in the vault
2. Dont feed Hyper ANY more wild woodbines..he has enough
3. n00b will ass rape anyone

nothing , but i think that would be too much effort for some , unless they had some crazy scheme for thank whoring. or something.... and nobodies gonna go that far, are they?

try posting everyday and getting 50 hits no thanks no reply or we can close the vault again.

this way at least lower levels have a choice either they press a button and see the content or the vault can be closed and they have no choice.

which would they choose?

BTW I am currently working on the movies section, im almost on page 4 now. Hide tags rock... we need EVERYONE who can to help out going through all posts, especialy your own...!

Ok, well I guess I can see where you're coming from. Though, really if the 'thanks' are essentially being forced to just get at the post, how relevant are they really? May as well just up the thanks count by one when a user clicks the post, it'd be about as relevant.

Maybe something like a views to thanks ratio? So if a user views something like 10 posts, they have to thank say, three or four of them. To keep their ratio. They know they have to thank, but they don't have to thank everything, so they might be inclined to really thank the posts they thought were good. Not just thanking to get the link/pic or what have you. It'd be tougher to code that I'm sure, but it might be more effective.

You could possibly even work it further into an overall rating and factor thier posts, comments, thanks and views to come up with member contribution rating or something.

I dunno.. just thinking.
