I have been using a program called adware spyware se. there web site is being moved so i can not look there. I went to control panel to uninstall this program and it said all of it was not uninstalled but I could do it manually. Well, before I go doing something crazy, I though I would ask for some help. How can I get this off of my system? After the uninstall, When I restarted the computer, it came up like it always does. It just looks like the icons are pixilated. I do not want to mess up anything. Please help. I can not find anything on google but i might not be looking in the right places.

is it spyware? ...or legit software?.....the link you provided says future home .....if it's legit, delete the folder on c:program files that previously held the program .....then do the other two steps I said

do you still have this soft ? if yes:
1) Get Total uninstall (http://www.martau.com/) & install it
2) Take a look at the tutorial on the site
3) Apply
4) Thank me or kill me :-)

I looked at total uninstall's website and it says that it will not uninstall programs that were installed before it is. Is there a way around this or what?

Nuttin to be afraid of just uninstall the folder in the Program Files then START / RUN type regedit then look in HKEY_CURRENT_USER / SOFTWARE and see if there is anything with the same name as the company that made the app, and delete it.
The look in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE / Software and look there too. That should do it.

okay, after looking in the registry I was unable to find anything. I ran "msconfig" and it was listed in the start up tab. If I disabled it, my computer started in "selective" mode. So I enabled it again and was able to get rid of it with a program called "regsweep". Got rid of it I think. It is still there but will not run I hope.

You can find regsweep where we keep the other sticky stuff. It said I had 500 registry errors. Who knows if it is any good or not.

Thanks all for the help.

you can go to support.microsoft.com, do a search for windows installer cleanup utility. its a good, free tool for getting rid of such programs. but, running a reg cleaner after would be a good idea too.
