LIFE STYLE EXTRA (UK) - Snoop Dogg could face charges after trying to take a weapon onboard a plane.
The rapper had a 21-inch collapsible baton in his laptop case when he was stopped at a security checkpoint at California's John Wayne International Airport on September 27.
Sheriff's spokesman Jim Amormino confirmed: "He had a collapsible baton which is classified as a dangerous weapon."
At the time, Snoop - whose real name is Calvin Broadus - told officers the weapon was a prop for a film he was shooting in New York.
The 35-year-old rapper was not arrested and officials are still deciding if he will be charged.
Earlier this year Snoop was banned from entering the UK ever again.
The rapper was banned after he and his minders were involved in a "mini-riot" at London's Heathrow airport in April.
Snoop was given a police caution and banned from flying with British Airways after the star and several of his minders began fighting after they were denied entry to the airline's first-class lounge.
According to reports, he has now been told his criminal record in his native America - which includes drug and gun offences - bars him from returning to Britain.
